Last night the snow came. Gently and steadily it fell, covering everything with 4 to 8 inches of beautiful whiteness. A nice gift to those who are coming for Christmas.

Abundant Snow
December 7, 2009Tahoe is now assured of a white Christmas.
We are in the midst of a major snowstorm. Since yesterday we have had 12+ inches and it’s still falling. There are at least two more systems due later in the week.
Once these storms are through, all the ski slopes should be able to operate at full capacity. [...]

November 25, 2009Hi folks. It’s shaping up to be a beautiful Thanksgiving Day. The temperature is predicted to be about 50 degrees with sunny skies here on the south shore. Although there is a slight possibility of a few snow showers on Friday there is no reason to be concerned.
